While Abiding with God through faith is a fundamental truth that Spofford and Oak prioritizes. Faith is more fully realized and grasped when we are able to gain freedom from our old patterns of behavior and belief systems, which makes "Becoming" another important and primary pillar of Spofford and Oak. There is a blessed, and most times difficult, process of becoming who we were always made to be through inviting Jesus into every crevice of our beings.

The reality of our new life, which is purchased by Jesus, occurs in a spiritual sense immediately upon conversion. Become is about letting that spiritual reality influence our physical circumstances by living life in obedience to the teachings of Jesus, putting on New Life which comes with the grace to accomplish those teachings, and letting that change our physical bodies, relationships, circumstances, and spheres of influence.

To assist in this process, Spofford and Oak offers inner healing prayer, deliverance, and discipleship to help individuals overcome barriers to belief in the truth that was discussed in the "Abiding" section.

Spofford and Oak also aims to be a community of individuals who prioritize Jesus’ work in us individually, and through us communally to impact everything we come in contact with. We hope to assist in discipling the church of Spokane at large to be obedient to the Holy Spirits leading and ignite a passionate and supernatual relationship with God in every believer as well as the one entity of God's church in spokane.
