About Spofford and Oak
Origins
The dream of Spofford and Oak has unfolded over the course of time. It started where Christ and Kendra were living in Nashville, TN in 2021 when Chris felt God speak to him in a dream to come to Spokane without any further instructions.

Chris and Kendra moved to the neighborhood of West Central, Spokane in 2022 and continued ask the Lord why he had brought them there. With very little to go off of they decided to simply call their ministry Spofford and Oak, which was just literally the location that they felt God had called them to be.
​
Over the next 3 years the activities of Spofford and Oak moved from the Connors house, to a tent which was pitched in their side yard, until in October of 2025 an opportunity came to purchase the house across the street which is also located on the corner of Spofford and Oak.
Kendra and Chris
Kendra and Chris' worlds collided in late September 2018 when Chris filled in on bass with a band where Kendra was the pianist. Despite their best efforts, feelings were felt. The band lasted for another year and a half but Kendra and Chris are still just getting started.
From the beginning they both quickly realized their similarities in their passions, spirituality, vision, and mission. On their first date they exchanged dreams of future ministry houses that would bring healing, freedom, and where people would realize how much God loved them. The young couple never would expect what God would actually bring these dreams to reality in what is now Spofford and Oak.

He has continued to knit Kendra and Chris together as husband and wife, parents of 4 boys, ministry partners, and band mates.
