Ephesians 2:10

"For we are Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

What’s left to do but to allow the love of Jesus to multiply through us. When we are free to be true to our healed and restored selves, we find that we are made in the image of God, who is a creator. When our needs and wants are satisfied in God, our gifts no longer need to serve us, but can serve those around us and ultimately God.

Additionally, getting lost in a creative process  allows us to peer into a window of who we truly are. Time spent creating perpetuates the process of abiding and becoming. Seeing our true selves through this window of creativity motivates us to do the very hard work of sanctification in order to find our true selves as God sees us. We climb through that window, out of our destructive patterns, and be at home with our true selves and our Creator.

What we create is written into the DNA of every unique believer. It is the outflow of a renewed life living by the spirit. God created us to create, to be fruitful and multiply.

At Spofford and Oak we encourage creativity in every form that brings glory to God. It is pat of the testimony of His work in us. We must express the good things that God does in us, with thankfulness, in order to continue to receive more and deeper abiding and becoming. Art, business, evangelism, the very gifts of the Holy Spirit are all creative expression of His work in us.

Ultimately, when we give the glory and the credit for our creations where it is due, to Gods work in us and the healing power of Jesus, every expression of our creation is a unique way to share the Gospel.
