What’s left to do but to allow the love of Jesus to multiply through us. When we are free to be true to ourselves, we find that we are made in the image of God, who is a creator. When our needs and wants are satisfied in God, our gifts no longer need to serve us, but can serve those around us and ultimately God.
Beyond that, it’s in getting lost in a creative process that we forget about our personal struggles and are able to peer into a window of who we truly are.

Time spent creating perpetuates the process of abiding and becoming. Seeing our true selves through this window of creativity motivates us to do the very hard work of sanctification in order to find our true selves -climb through that window, out of our destructive patterns, and be at home with our true selves.

Spofford and Oak offers space to create through art and music. It also encourages all forms of creativity.
